Red cloth with small gilt illustration to front board and gilt tiles to spine. Illustrated dw has suffered significant loss and has been badly repaired with tape; it is also dust soiled. Endpapers have illustrated map of London by A. E. Taylor. Front internal hinge has begun to split and is weak; some wear to internal rear hinge but this is much sounder. Over 50 full page black and white illustrations. Clean and bright. A good copy in poor dw.
