This is a (typical book size) catalog with soft covers enclosing 50 pages on glossy paper of movie cameras made by this company in 1948. The binding is staples. The cover is in color with a female model holding a camera to the eye on both the front and back cover. The heritage and product features of the camera are explained in text and half tone images. The catalog includes lens (Kern-Paillard ) , projectors, winders, tripods, meter. There are no prices. Photo illustrated in black and white throughout. Tight binding, crisp, clean, but with a little rubbing to the color layer on the covers, a faint corner crease. 8vo. | , CASTLES IN SPAIN | OVERHEAD Merchant's Metal "Spanish" Tiles Made of Copper Steel Tin. Philadelphia, PA: Merchant & Co, 1896. This is a small, oblong booklet with cord tied binding - a beautiful piece of marketing. The company, Mercahnt & Co, of Philadelphia, New York, and Chicaog imported and sold tiles made of copper, steel, and tin. The 'catalog' consists of wonderfully illustrated well, known buildings that were 'roofed' with tiles from Merchant & Co. The drawings were originally well executed watercolors that were copied for this booklet. The cover is an impression of some roofs that covers the front and spills over to the back cover. The cover say Overhead ... Compliments of Merchant & Co. Incorporated. The second page that acts as a title page refers to Castles in Spain and the drawing is of portions of castles. A portion of the text also refers to 'Attractive Ornamental Thouroughly Storm Proof'. The buildings included on their own full page are: Five Santa Barbara (Cal) Cottages by A. Page Brown; Architect. Colorado Building - World's Fair - Chicago by H. F. E> Wendell, Architenct; Hollenback Home, Los Angeles, Morgan & Walls, Architects; Princeton Inn, Wm. B. Tuthill, Architect; Haddon Hall, Atlantic City, N. J. Addiso Hutton and C. L. Hillman, Architects; , First Baptist Church - Gouveneur, N. Y. S. R. Badgley, Architect; New York Harbor Showing Ellis Island Buildings (with ships in the foreground. J. E> Pepper Residence, F. L. And . E. W. Smith, Architects. The last page is a vignette in color o. workers making the tiles. Only those images that are in color have been listed there are others in a mono brown ink - including the 125th Street Station in NY (Elevated) . There are images of Merchant & Co logos. The booklet was printed on quality paper that is till clean and crisp. There is a faint stamp in the upper right hand corner of the ftont cover that says 'Civil Engineers Society of St. Paul. There are 20 pages - the last is an 'annoucement' about the U. S. Govdistributing specification for roofing tin to be placed on the New Government Printing Office. There is also mention of other stores in Boston, New Orleans, and Brooklyn. Well cared for. 12mo. | , CATALOGUE OF AN EXHIBITION OF ENGRAVED PORTRAITS OF WOMEN WRITERS FROM SAPPHO TO GEORGE ELIOT. The Grolier Club, 1895. First Edition. This is a small Exhibition Catalogue in a wrapper. It contains a list of women writers, their birth and death years, type of writing, name of the painter of their portrait and the etcher/engraver (where known; some data is missing) . There were multiple portraits of some women by a variety of artists/engravers. The interior if crisp and clean with no wear, no marks or writing except for a pencil note of the number of engravers listed on the inside of the rear cover. The wrapper is the soft paper, hand set with red and black ink. This book has toning around the edges and there are multipe spots and some tiny chips at the tips of the corners. The binding is sewn. 7" high, 4 3/8" wide, a fraction of an inch thick. 8vo; 24 pages. | , GROCER'S PRICE LIST - MUELLER-WILD CO. - MILWAUKEE. Milwaukee, WI: Mueller-Wild Co. Wholesale Grocers, 1920. This is a hard cover book cover with 1920 prices inserted in to paper fasteners with grommets. There is a one page Foreward about the company and a second page of text with Terms and Credits. The remainer of the book covers prices from tea to canned fish to cocoanuts and something called saleratus to soap and tires. This was a wholesale grocer and copies were probably given to grocer or restaurant customers. This issue very clearly states that the prices are from February 14, 1920. The covers have spots like a splatter. The first page has some spotting. The remaninder of the pages are very clean and complete. This book is 8" tall and 5 1/2 inches wide. 8vo; 68 pages.
