Suddenly however, he found that he was being dropped by one friend after another. Soon he was sent for by the head of the department responsible for foreign correspondents and vigorously reproved for articles which in fact he had never written. Denial was useless, and thenceforward he found that he was excluded from all press conferences, deprived of 'official' information, and as he expressed it, was sent 'into orbit'. This book is the story of his life during those years ..and of how he came to love and pity the people of Moscow. Very Good (+)/Very Good.
