IRWIN, MARGARET  Elizabeth Captive Princess (In Original Book Printed Book Club box)
New York, Harcourt Brace, 1948, Book Club. Hard Cover, Near Fine/Near Fine, Crisp, clean, almost like new book club edition with an added bonus. Book is encased in its original mailing box with the title printed on one end. What's interesting about this is the fact that it was shipped by a major Cleveland department store, rather than by a book club as is done today. The book tiself is crisp and clean, as is jacket. Former owner's name written neatly on front free endpaper. Dustjacket shows a few spots of mild edgewear, but is most handsome in brand new protective mylar. The author also penned "Young Bess."
