Tuttle, 1970, First Tuttle Edition. Hard Cover with dust jacket, 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall, Very Good/Good, Book itself is clean and tightly bound with no bumps to black boards. Dustjacket is likewise clean and handsome in brand new mylar, but does show chipping to crown of spine, at upper front corner and at two small spots along a tear next to spine at front. Originally published in 1820, this classic was part of 39 volumes of text and 5 of plates illustrating technological innovation in arts, sciences and literature. This extraction concerns itself with technical aspects of horology in the form of essays augmented by 47 reproductions of the engraved plates of the original. 295 pages.
