, Franklin Library, 1975, Limited Edition. Leather Bound, Fine/No DJ, as Issued, A limited edition of this classic 1932 Pulitzer Prize winning novel of life in China at the turn of the 20th century. The book is so beautiful and has had gentle use, if any. There are no names or writing and the leather is without wear, including the four raised bands at the spine. The page edges are gilded on all three sides.What's amazing though is the red satin ribbon marker, as it shows little wear and no wrinkling. Pages are clean as a whistle and the book is illustrated throughout with an orange, grey, black and brown palette. It measures 6-1/4"x 9-1/4" and has 345 pages. Endpapers are a lovely red moire.
