Ownership stamp and inked date on front free endpaper. Dust jacket is price-clipped and rubbed at its edges, and has short closed tears and small chips at its edges, especially at its spine ends and corners. Jacket also has a price tag shadow on its front panel and is a little yellowed at its spine and extreme margins. Caldwell, ID: The Caxton Printers, Ltd, 1957. Hardcover. Ex-school library copy, with no external markings, but with ownership stamps on front free endpaper, half-title page, and title page. Light blue cloth binding lettered in medium blue, a little discolored at its spine and extreme margins, where not protected by dust jacket; there are tape stains on the front and back covers, where the dust jacket (in a plastic protector) was originally taped to the covers. Binding is also rubbed at its spine ends and cover corners, but is tight and square. Page block edges are yellowed and smudged, and extreme page margins are just starting to yellow; pages are unmarked and clean, except for the library makings. In a dust jacket that is rubbed at its extremities with one tiny closed edge tear. ; Dust jacket is in a clear plastic protector.
