Philadelphia, PA: Penn Publishing Company, 1921. Later Printing. Hardcover. Green cloth binding lettered in black, with circular pasted-on cover art; binding is lightly rubbed at edges, especially at spine ends and corners. Page block edges are a little darkened and are smudged at toe of bottom edge; first signature is pages is a little loose from threads stretching, but is still holding. Signed bookplate on front free endpaper. Book is square, unfaded, and clean. In a dust jacket that is smudged on its faces and rubbed at its edges, with creases, short closed tears, and small chips. ; B & W frontispiece and four full-page B & W illustrations by Elizabeth Pilsbry. Seventeen titles in series are listed on front flap and on back panel of dust jacket, with this title listing eighth on the flap and ninth on the back panel--so this would appear to be a later printing (but title page lists only eight titles, not including this one). Dust jacket is in a clear plastic protector. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 224 pages. Very Good in Good dust jacket .

Nineteen titles in series are listed on front flap and on back panel of dust jacket, with this title listing twelfth--so this would appear to be a later printing. Page block edges are a little yellowed; owner's name in ink on back of front free endpaper. Pages are otherwise unmarked; binding is square, tight, and unfaded. In a price-clipped dust jacket that is a little rubbed at its edges and that has small chips missing from the top and bottom of its spine. ; First edition--lists to this title on dust jacket flap and on back of half-title page.
