	The Incorporated Institution of Automobile Engineers Proceedings Session 1910-11 London: Institution of Automobile Engineers, 1911. First Edition. Cloth. Proceedings 1910-11. Vol V. 5th session. With index to vols 1 - V In original green cloth boards standard binding with gilt title to front cover and spine panel. There is some rubbing, and patchy fading to the green covers, where the colour has been lost. Still attractive though. 517pp, Internally mainly clean but with a touch of foxing to the pages. The binding to the rear of the book is loose, and the rear hinge cracked. As a result, one of the plates, and a couple of pages of the index have become seperated. All still present and collated though. This is a record of addresses and discussions throughout the year including one on "Problems Relating to Aircraft." all illustrated with charts (some fold-out), graphs and 24 full page photo plates at rear. The institution of Automobile Engineers was founded in 1899 and incorporated in 1907. At this time, the engines of aircraft and cars were often built by the same people and factories, so this volume addresses the problems of both.; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Good with no dust jacket .
