None. 1935. Soft Cover. This original photo was signed by famous musical expert, author, and host of old time radio show"The Tune Detective", Sigmund Spaeth. He had a radio show in which he would play excerpts from popular music and shows, acoustically, from where it had been "ripped," to use today's terminology. He also put lyrics to many classical tunes. He did not disparage popular music; he just enjoyed proving time and again that "there is nothing new under the sun," certainly when it comes to music Some of his musical books were: A Guide to Great Orchestral Music Art of Enjoying Music At Home With Music Facts of Life in Popular Song Fifty Years With Music. Obtained by writing to Sigmund in 1935, and receiving this 4 5/8 x 2 5/8 inch black and white photo in the mails. This autographed black-and-white 8"x10" photo shows baseball player Wally Berger taking a warm-up swing wearing a Boston Braves uniform, which places the photo between 1930 and 1937. More recent copy though. This is a nice, clear, clean photo with a crisp signature in blue ink in the lower right-hand quadrant. Berger was a three-time All-Star with the Braves and led the National League with 34 home runs and 130in 1935. He retired in 1940. This signature was obtained in the 1970s. Herman was named to the Hall of Fame in a Cubs uniform, but won pennants with the Brooklyn Dodgers as well, and finished up his career with stints with the Boston Braves and the Pittsburgh Pirates. N/A  General Omar Bradley Signed 1947 Letter, to American Legion Post in Toledo Ohio
N/A. 1947. Photograph. This auction features a very interesting and historical signed letter from WW2 General Omar Bradley in 1947. The letter is written on The Administration Of Veterans Affairs letterhead with seal, where Bradley was working at the time of this letter being written. 6 3/4 x 9 inches, excellent condition. Bradley was a brigadier general when the United States entered World War 2 He commanded forces in North Africa and Sicily, then moved to command the American involvement in the D-Day invasion of 1944, ultimately liberating Paris, France from the German occupied forces. After the war, Bradley served in the Veterans' Administration and as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, retiring in 1953. From an old time collection, authenticity and real signature in black fountain pen guaranteed original and authentic. Letter is to Paul Kieser of Toledo Ohio, and refers to the American Legion Post there. Excellent , original condition. Guarnteed real, and hand signed by General Bradley. N/A. 1985. Photo. This offering features a full size 8x10 color officialphoto of the Discovery Shuttle crew, signed in black Sharpie pen by all seven members of the crew. Photograph signed: "Jake Garn", "riggs", "Rhea Seddon", "Charles Walker", "Karol 'Bo' Bobko", "Don Williams" and "Jeff Hoffman". Charles Walker's hand signed Sharpie signature has a second ball point pen signature of "Charles Walker" beneath it. Discovery (STS-51D) was launched on April 12, 1985. The flight carried and successfully deployed two communications satellites: Telesat (Canada communications satellite) and Syncom IV-3 communications satellite. The crew also carried out an informal science study of the behavior of mechanical toys in microgravity (Toys in Space). It was the first flight of aelected official, Republican Senatoracob "Jake" Garn of Utah, Chairman of the Senate committee with oversight responsibilities for's budget. Discovery (STS-51D) landed at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida on April 19, 1985. Excellent condition, purchased in the late 1980's from a national known autograph company in North Carolina. Rear of photolettering is pictured in the second photo. All 7 Sharpie signatures are guaranteed real and hand signed by the astronauts. Unknown. 1886. Soft Cover. This letter, dated Oct. 1, 1886, is handwritten by Secretary of the Treasury Georgeoutwell and addressed to anilliamson of Boston. Boutwell served as Secretary of the Treasury under President Ulyssesrant, but was elected to complete the Senate term of Henry Wilson upon Wilson's election as Vice President in 1873. Boutwell served in the Senate until 1877. The letter appears to read as follows: "My Dear Sir: As I was not in Boston yesterday nor today your letter of the 30th of September did not reach until this evening. I [illegible] to leave for Washington next Monday and I shall not be in Boston again for some months. As matters now are I do not care to write [illegible] to office matters. If I had had [?] an opportunity to see Mr. Worthington [?] I [illegible] have spoken of your case although I do not know what his powers are. Very Truly, Geooutwell." N/A. 1980. Photograph. This black-and-white photograph of New York Yankees pitcher Waite Hoyt shows the player on the field on Oct. 6, during the 1921 World Series. The photo is signed in black ink in the lower right-hand corner of the picture. Hoyt, who was nicknamed "Schoolboy" for his baby-faced appearance, played for the Giants and the Red Sox before coming to the Yankees in 1921 during the Ruth era. Hoyt became a popular player, as well known for his exploits off the field as well as his pitching. He was traded from the Yankees in 1929 after his lifestyle began to catch up with him. Unknown. 1988. Soft Cover. Signed, Inscribed 8x10 glossy black and white matted to 11x14 photograph of Anne Murray. Signed in ink: "Clay, Love, Anne Murray." Canadian-born singer Anne Murray, who has sold close to 50 million albums and won four Grammy Awards over the past three decades, paved the way for such future Canadian divas as Celine Dion, Shania Twain, k.d. lang, Alanis Morissette and Sarah McLachlan. After beginning her career in 1966 as a performer on the popular TV series, Singalong Jubilee (at a salary of $71.50 as a singer or $99.00 as a soloist), Murray appeared on a cast album, resulting in the release of her first solo album, What About Me (1968). Her second album included "Snowbird", which became one of North America's most played songs in 1970. Her career took off, with appearances on TV variety shows and hits on both the pop and country charts. She received her first Grammy Award (Best Country Vocal Performance - Female) for "Love Song" in 1974, and was later awarded Grammys for Best Pop Vocal - Female for "You Needed Me" (1978), Best Country Vocal Performance - Female for "Could I Have This Dance" (1980) and Best Country Vocal Performance - Female for "A Little Good News" (1983). Murray, who continues to tour and record, has also received numerous other awards, including three American Music Awards, ninewards, 21 Juno Awards (Murray was inducted into the Juno Hall of Fame in 1993), three Country Music Association Awards, three Canadian Country Music Association awards (inducted into the Canadian Country Music Association Hall of Fame in 1986) and an Academy of Country Music Award.
