White & Co. are General Agents for the Pacific Coast for D. Appleton & Co. publishers. The harsh letter to a J.B. Hickman urges him to work more diligently, "if you show energy you can get a large number of orders." Schools have money now to buy the sets, so sign them up now before they spend it elsewhere. Accompanied by a 4 page, 8.5 x 5.5" printed brochure for the set addressed to school boards, with indorsements and order information.
