A handsome and beautiful production, finely bound in full red cloth boards with gold gilt as well as blue colonial-style floral-pattern endpapers. Second reprint (1992) of the 1974 edition produced under the patronage of the Shrewsbury Historical Society. Originally published in 1885 by R.T. Peck & Co., Philadelphia. Widely considered THE history of the area, indispensable for genealogists and Revolutionary historians. Fascinating for natives and residents. Comprehensive to the point of being nearly encyclopedic.
