Covers are nearly detached. Stuart's Dictionary of Architecture has the first two volumes bound together. The third volume contains 1, 000 plates of engravings. This is an historical, descriptive, topographical, decorative, theoretical and mechanical alphabetically arranged, familiarly explained, and adapted to the comprehension of workmen, etc. Illustrated by one thousand drawings of subjects referred in the work. Since the bindings are in poor condition, we suggest that they be rebound. The contents are very good, except for some waterstain at the bottom corner of the third volume of the last 20 pages.
