Issues contained a number of other supplementary inserts: fashion plates, cutting out patterns for dresses, songs, recipes, free-standing part issues of novels etc. These were not included in the ongoing pagination, or in the yearly index of contents (examples in No 69 & 80) and have been removed -- with exception (in issues 58 & 59) of two parts of a novel, Mildred's Wedding by Derek FRANCIS, printed in a smaller format, and intended to be collected and bound as a book on completion of the serialisation.
