Some sun-fading to boards and spine, but gilt is still fairly bright. Pencil names (Jonas Smalley, Honeoye Falls, N.Y. 1874) and notations on front and rear endpapers and front and rear blank pages. Ink notation on rear free endpaper. Small ink or pencil notations on several pages of text, plus scattered minor foxing or soiling. Good. Good.

Black leather spine label with gilt stamped titles. Boards have blindstamped borders and insets with decorative stamped borders. Size: octavo. 19th printing; circa 1717. Facsimiles of the 10-woodcut title page, and the explanatory page from the 20th ptg, are bound before this book's title page. 318 pages (with 5 full-page illustrations), iii (The Table of the Second Book, containing all cures Chirugical), and 62 pages (of diseases in oxen, cows, sheep, hogs, goats, dogs, and all small cattle, plus The Compleat Jockey). Binding has scant wear and possibly sunned areas to front board. First and last few leaves have missing edges, with a small loss of text, but are conserved with new edges. Some light staining and soiling to text. All text appears to be present, despite numerous printer's errors in pagination. Fair text in VG binding.
