   ¶ A detailed instruction manual on flying a plane, first published in the 1930s with this being a new edition published in 1940. 282 pp. Index. Illustrated throughout. This is a book for fans and/or would be pilots of vintage planes. There even is a section on how to parachute properly from the plane, incuding how to pilot the parachute to avoid dangerous landings. Illustrations include proper landing approaches, instrumentation, flying under all kinds of conditions, and much more. The book is well-worn but solid. The covers are rubbed, spotted and faded. There is wear around most edges with the cloth worn through in small spots at the corners. Pages are lightly toned. Prior owner gift inscription on flyleaf.
