	PIGOT AND CO Map of the County of Cumberland- taken from Pigot and Co's British Atlas Comprising the Counties of England (upon which are laid down all railways completed and in progress) Pigot & Co. 1839. No Binding. Dated from reference to British Library catelogue and title-page of atlas. This is the coloured map titled "Cumberland" and sheet entitled "Cumberland". The map, a hand-coloured (prior to initial binding) steel engraving contains a vignette of Carlisle Cathedral. The map is a little darkened but otherwise clean and free from spotting and tears. There is a crease adjacent to the top right corner but this is entitly contained in the outer margin area of the margin. The accompanying printed sheet has a small nick on the top edge but is otherwise very good. Very Good. No Binding. Dated from reference to British Library catelogue and title-page of atlas. This is the coloured map titled "Cheshire" and sheet. The map, a hand-coloured (prior to initial binding) steel engraving contains a vignette of Chester Cathedral. The map is a little darkened but otherwise clean. It has a tear through the top left corner such that the map is in two pieces (the detached piece is from approximately 1/3 from below the top edge to approximately 1/2 way along the top edge. The tear edges are clean and the map could be repaired to its original full extent with an almost invisible join. The accompanying information sheet is missing its title and top 10% of text. Fair. No Binding. Dated from reference to British Library catelogue and title-page of atlas. This is the coloured map titled "Buckinghamshire" and sheet also titled "Buckinghamshire". The map, a hand-coloured (prior to initial binding) steel engraving contains a vignette of Newport Pagnall Church. The map is a little darkened but otherwise clean but is missng the top left corner. This loss of this triangular piece (approx 4 cm across and 6cm deep) encroaches onto the coloured border and top corner of the key to the map, the loss within the coloured boarder is a traiangular piece approx 1.5 cm by 3cm. The printed accompanying sheet is also missing the top left corner (similar size loss), text loss is restricted to the first letter of the text. Fair.
