Third - The Contrast between Man and Man; Fourth - the Contrast between a Man and a Beast. Dedication to the Right Worshipful Nathanael Spence Esq, Depute Grand Master Mason, Scotland. Preface of 4 pages. Part Two tombstone inscriptions are several from the churchyard in Aberdeen, from Coventry, Kingsington near London (Kensington?), Edinburgh, Exeter, Yarmouth, Newcastle. The last item is headed "As the Author is under a particular Obligation to the Free Masons in General, for there Countenance and Support, in Subscribing so cheerfully to this Small Work. He begs leave to Address to them, the following POEM, on FREE-MASONRY. - Of all the knowledge, the art of man have found, The art of masons is most profound etc". Small leatherbound volume with gilt lining to edges and black spine label with gilt lettering on spine, has been restored probably with new spine and earlier covers, corners are lightly rubbed, bookplates for Wallace Heaton and another, binding sound, pages are darkened with occasional freckles, particularly the title-page, page 137/138 has a vertical strip missing from the margin. Very Good.
