GOULD, CHARLES N.,  Covered Wagon Geologist. .
Norman: University of Oklahoma Press, (1959). First edition. Octavo, brown cloth, gilt, in pictorial jacket. 282pp. with index. Photographs and folding maps. Very good in good or better jacket with a small round red sticker on the tail of the spine and some soil on the back panel. A lover of geology and fossils, and a teacher, Gould could spot likely oil fields but seldom revealed the locations unless asked, as he had no use for money himself. He left behind the manuscript autobiography which is compiled here.
