Aimed at soldiers returning home after WWII, the orientation guide outlined and humorously illustrated for them the rules of conduct at Camp Stoneman, including appearance, chow, recreation activities, money handling, and so on. Camp Stoneman, in Pittsburg, in the San Francisco Bay Area, was a US Army facility, used as a major staging area for troops during both WWII and the Korean War.
