¶ Nice edition of this poetical works by William Hamilton. Illustrated with an engraved portrait. The portrait seems to be a copy of an oil-painting by his cousin Gavin Hamilton. Also 2 engraved plates. Among the poems the ode " On the Battle of Gladsmuir, 1745". Early example of the Stanford Press printing. Very good copy.
