[26]pp including decorated title-page printed in red and black, text enclosed within a ruled border and divided vertically, 12 real-photos laid down on 11 printed-card sheets. Original glazed-paper boards gilt. Extremes rubbed with minor repairs to spine tips; boards browned and soiled; margins 'rippled' as a result of gluing the photos to stiff-card. Presentation inscription to Miss E. Rudd (possibly the Marquis of Titchfield's nurse) from the Duke and Duchess of Portland. DISCOVER: V & A.
