At the same time it contains very specialized informations for the expert, well beyond the simple Salt print on paper, with the variations on albumenized/arrowroot and matte paper, but also with rare instructions how to print on glass, prepare Opalotypes and Orotones. Very extensive are the paragraphs on toning, which really allows to the prhotographer to give it's personal tone to the final print! Very important is the comprehensive paragraph on the realization of the digital negative, explained for the processes described in the book, with the possiblity to download the appropriate correction curves and scripts from the author's webpage. Mrhar presents a specialized and extensive treaty on the digital negatives in a separate book : "Easy Digital Negatives". The book is completed with instructions how to finish the salt print with recipes for different varnishes and a very interesting reference section with citation of all the old books where he found the formulas to test and adapt to the today's available materials/substances.
