Illustrated with an engraved portrait of the author as frontispiece and two-page engraved alphabet in which each letter is accompanied by a picture of a native of a different country. Paper browned in places. First published in 1776, this book went through many editions, but copies of some of these editions are not only scarce, but seem not to have survived in many copies, if any at all. This edition is not recorded in any of the major databases consulted. The publication date is surmised based on the printer's various working places. Good.
