Spine rebacked in modern cloth, retaining the original boards, gilt lettering and crest on top board, coloured endpapers. Binding has some light wear, a few small abrasion marks on bottom cover. Generally binding in good clean firm condition. Internally, some light staining to frontis,about 40 pages have some light staining on margins, about 10 plates repaired, some occasional nicks or tears to margins, occasional light rippling Generally pages and plates clean throughout. Overall a nice copy, in a good solid binding. Near Very Good.
