A neat inscription on pre title page, but almost near fine. Splendid Pictorial Map End-papers, and excellent b/w illustrations too from Bertram Prance, as is the charming fragile war-time white spined dust wrapper. This is slightly rubbed as expected, with a little creasing and nibbles at extremities. One title letter has been coloured, A little loss at top of spine, taking out"Seven" lettering, but a photo copy of the original wrapper below, to help shelf appearance! Very scarce, and the magical second volume in this brilliant series. As an additional delight, this also has a Handwritten Envelope by Mr Saville to a previous owner! Wonderful!. Very Good/Good.
