The event featured workshops, activities, etc. ranging from ultimate abs: the road to ripples, to Bonsai, bicycle repair for the beginner, mystery party, photographing the male nude, men together: HIV+ and -, etc. With a list of supporting businesses. GOOD condition. Small hole/tear at the upper edge, perhaps from a tack. Vertical fold crease present. Minor wrinkling. Small spots of staining to the lower center edge. Good .

It was located at 4100 Sunset Blvd. (or 1087 Manzanita as this matchbook indicates) and appears to have been open from 1974 to 1997. GOOD condition. Some edgewear, scuffing and creasing. Studio One logo on the front, with the text "Discotheque, Dining, Dancing, Entertainment," on the reverse, along with the address of 652 N. La Peer Dr. Hollywood. Studio One was a noted gay/lgbtq+ bar serving the Los Angeles area. It opened in 1974 and was bought, changing names, in the 1990s. While it was sometimes a spot that featured prominently in the gay rights movement in the LA area, it also sometimes had a reputation for catering to upper class white males. GOOD condition. Minor creasing to the covers, with a few bumps and scuffs along the edges. Two or three matches missing from the interior. Good .
