In this title he covers the history of this area both coastal and the mostly forgotten interior of the Great Central Valley. Time frame is from Drakes famous landing to the Loma Prieta Earthquake in 1989 in which San Francisco and Oakland were locked in battle for the world series and the bay bridge collapsed, highways pancaked killing several and fire again took over San Francisco. 206 pages, Bibliography, Index.
