Hardback in good condition, Cover does have rub to boards front corner, and small chip out. Dust Jacket in acceptalable condition, has missing chip same place as above. Text is clean and unmarked, binding is tight, B&W photos and drawings a nice clean copy. A dwelling has stood on the site since before written history. The site overlooking the Atlantic on one side and a small lake on the other. The houses have been built, torn down, rebuilt and have had a turbulent history of owners. From the time of the Gaelic clans, home to 19th century landowners, a widow, home to a poet, literary travelers, statesman, renowned surgeon and people struggling for Free Ireland. A great history of a house and its ghosts, it is today a modern hotel on Irelands west coast. Good/Acceptable.
