Boston , T. & J. Fleet, 1794. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. Hardcover. 148pp. Marbled boards, leather spine and leather backing. Rear board detached but present, front board barely holding, first 5 leaves separated (including title age), contents age-toned but clean and unmarked. A fascinating journal of a day's activities, by a former owner, is written on a blank leaf and is titled "A Journal.", all clearly legible. The first portion of the book is the almanack, and the latter portion is The Massachusetts Register for 1794, which includes much information about Massachusetts, its government, its institutions, including its military, judiciary, religious institutions, schools etc. Drake 3517.
