Engraved titlepage with motto ("honi soit qui mal y pense", which translates as: shame on anyone who thinks ill of it, and was used as the motto of the British chivalric Order of the Garter) and heraldic crests of the seven Dutch provinces, decorative initials. BOUND WITH:P. Scriverius, Respublica Romana, Leiden (Lugd. Batav.), Ex officina Elzeviriana, 1629, 8vo., 576 pp., engraved titlepage with motto ("Montibus his olim totus promittitur orbis, Juraque ab hac terra caetera terra petet", a quote from Ovid) and classical iconography referring to Rome (for instance the statue of Romulus and Remus).

Bussum, 1902, salesbrochure for a plan of development of Crailoo in Bussum/Blaricum/het Gooi. This plan was never executed. Many illustrations and sales information.In 1902 werd de Maatschappij tot Exploitatie van Bouwterreinen 'Crailoo’ opgericht door P. Langerhuizen na een omstreden grondruil met de zogenaamde (niet door de Erfgooiers erkende) Stad en Lande van Gooiland. Langerhuizen woonde zelf in het landhuis Crailo. In 1903 trachtte de Maatschappij tot Exploitatie van Bouwterreinen 'Crailoo’ een tramverbinding te krijgen van Crailoo, waar deze maatschappij een villapark wilde bouwen, met het H.S.M.-station Naarden-Bussum. Op 28 oktober 1904 werd daartoe de 'Centrale Tramweg-Maatschappij’ opgericht, gevestigd te Amsterdam.

Brussel, Benedictus le Francq, 1780, 12mo., poorly rebound with use of the original leather covering and original marbled endpapers in the back, some goldtooling still visible on the spine, 223 pp., the original binding was considerably damaged with broken hinges and cuts, it has been patched up by pasting it to a new cover of cloth and cardboard, the bookblock is in better condition than the binding without much staining and only darkened edges and darkened and worn outer pages. Complete with engraved frontispiece and 24 fold out hand coloured maps depicting continents and countries. The blank pages in the front and back show various contemporary notes dated to 1782 and 1831. It concerns ownership signatures, a list of the atrological signs and a note with the four cardinal points.
