A sammelband of two publications, presumed first editions, 1909 and 1905; 8 x 5 1/2; pp. 112 and 57 respectively + pp. 6 publisher's advertisements; marbled paper over boards and 1/4 polished calf; illustrated with numerous engravings and drawings; a bit of rubbing to edges of boards; occasional smudging to margins; overall in very good condition. An authoritative for its time compilation on domestic economy and an early work on electrical instalation and utilization at home, both works contained numerous practical references, recipes, and ideas - many of them very much applicable today. The first included chapters on adhesives and putties, stain removal, pest control, and so on. The second featured material on electric bells, voltaic batteries, electric alarm clocks, etc. Very good .
