After moving to Aberystwyth at the age of nine, he attended Penglais Comprehensive School before embarking on various jobs, including working as a BMW assembly-line worker in Germany, a hotel washer-up, and a deckhand on a yacht in Polynesia. He later became an advertising copywriter in London and Singapore. In 1998, he left his advertising career to focus on writing, producing his debut novel, Aberystwyth Mon Amour, which introduced the character Louie Knight, a private detective navigating the city's underworld. Pryce has since authored several novels in the Aberystwyth Noir series, blending elements of classic detective fiction with a unique Welsh setting. He currently resides in Oxford.. Good+ .
