S. l. s. n. 1890. Menu, n. d. (1890s); 7 x 5; single, card stock, beige sheet, printed in black, with an elaborate border of stars around the title; bright fuchsia, decorative ribbon to upper left corner; a few small spots; in very good condition. A humorous menu (possibly from Maine, as the Southwest Harbor Public Library holds a similar menu for a "Conundrum Sociable" from the 1890s, by the ladies of Seal Cove, for the Cemetery Fence Fund), it listed specialties such as: "Greased Staff," "A Girlish Boy," "The Cause of Neighborhood Contention," "The Joy of Darwin's Grandfather," and others. Four selections could be had for 15 cents and seven selections - for 25 cents. Very good .
