All volumes in original, paper-covered boards with color pastedowns to front boards and decorative lettering to spines and front boards. Decorated endpapers, color plates and in-text illustrations. Three of the volumes contain 14 plates; "Baby" has 13; "School" has 8; "Santa" has 13. The volumes show minor general shelfwear, slight spine slants, and some spotting/fingerprints here and there. "Sea-Side" shows some separation at gutter; "School" has an old tape repair at gutter; "Baby" shows an ink smudge to rear board and a tear to the top edge of one plate. Overall a nicely preserved set, loved but cared-for, and with some recent professional restoration, including re-sewn texts.
