This harrowing experience became the foundation for his book, Crooked Snake: The Life and Crimes of Albert Lepard, published in 2019. His varied career has included working for the Mississippi legislature, serving as a deckhand on the Mississippi River, participating in a Colorado rodeo, and teaching both construction technology and instrumental music in public schools.
