Met o.a. afbeeldingen van gemeentehuis, boerderij Mr. Poppes, gezicht op Sloten vanuit Slotermeer, hardrijden op de schaats bij Sloten, schip Jeanette op Slotermeer, de Woudsenderpijp, de Lemsterpijp met molen, de lange brug, huis Dr. E.J. de Jong, logement `De zeven wolven', `Ons huis aan 't Diep', boerderij L. Tjalma, R.K kerk en pastorie, Vischpartij op Slotermeer, Sloten van de Lemsterzijde, gezicht op Tjerkgaart, gezicht op Wijckel bij Sloten, Nieuw Bonia te Oldeboorn, etc. Voorts een aantal tekeningen van de kerk en pastorie te Valburg (Gelderland), 1879-1891, en de inscriptie `Album van Jeannette ten Harmsen van der Beek, Valburg 1879'. In totaal ruim 40 tekeningen, waaronder drie door J.G. Smilde.

Bladen uit A. Hendschel's schetsboek. Utrecht, W.F. Dannenfelser, (ca. 1890).

A portfolio of 24 plates in a burgundy red cloth folder with gilded lettering. The folder is a bit stained and the spine discolored. The containing plates are in good condition. The folder contains a variety of sketches bij Albert Hendschel (1834-1883). The beautiful pen and pencil illustrations were made by Henschel as leisure, but his friends and father (M. Hendschel) thought his work should be shown to the world.

Modern half-vellum, boards damaged, worn copy. 2°: pi2 A- C4, not paginated. With engraved title and 36 folding plates, mounted on paper in order to be able to see them next to the text. The 5th edition of 6, of which the first was published in 1622, followed by editions in 1625 (2x), 1647, ca. 1660 and ca 1750. The plates are the same in all editions. Among the illustrations a view of the gardens of the Prince of Orange in The Hague, and a landscape dated 1622, probably made by Simon Frisius. Other plates depict rooms, doorways, stairways, linen presses etcetera. In the present copy one, unnumbered plate is added, with the inscription ‘punctum’. B038
