Book, 49 sepia coloured plates which unfold, the frontispiece has a ex libris with edward dalton written on it , there is also a small card with a red penny stamp addressed to him glued the top of the page,undrenath the inscription"to his dear nephew "rev arthur dalton, hanwritten in brown ink all the church fonts and windows that the book contains, eg. name of churh, style and town or village. A very unusual book , marbled hard paper covers leather spine and corners the leather on spine a little damaged, the leather on the corners has lost its shine,clean inside and surprisingly tight for its age, every plate has an explanation on the right hand side. Fair/No Jacket.
