This is volume 5 in a series of eight, compiled by the microlepidopterologist John Frederick Gates Clarke (1905-1990). However, it is complete in itself regarding the groups treated, viz. Timyridae, Hyponomeunidae, Ethmiidae, Metachandidae, Cosmopteridae, Walshiidae, Blastodacnidae, Scythridae. The word "catalogue" does not quite cover the contents: "illustrated taxonomical handbook" would be more appropriate.
