Externally smart with only minor shelf wear and some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. The cloth to the spine has slightly darkened, slightly obscuring the titles to volume I. With some rubbing to the boards and a minor damp marking to the rear board of vol. II. With Charles G. Brown's bookplate to the front free endpaper. Internally, the hinges are slightly tender to the front board of vol. I and the rear board to vol. II, firmly bound throughout otherwise, With some minor offsetting to the endpapers, as usual, otherwise the pages are bright and clean.
