This is a Very Good Copy of this Book in grey cloth with gilt title lettering to spine and upper cover housed in a gold coloured slipcase which has a little wear to the outer edges.Clean copy internally with illustrations by Kurt Roesch.This is one of only 1960 copies printed on Enfield paper in Janson type.This copy has a firm binding with no leaning or rolling to spine.This copy came from the Library of Henry Livings.Livings was an English playwright and screenwriter, who worked extensively in British television and theatre from the 1960s through to the 1990s.Small 8vo unpaginated circa 30pp Limited Edition. Very Good .

A limited edition, limited to 400 un-numbered copies. Complete in two volumes.The collected poetry of Richard Lovelace, a seventeenth century English poet who fought on behalf of Charles I during the Civil War. Lovelace's best known poems are 'To Althea, From Prison', and 'To Lucasta, Going to the Warres&apos.Volume I illustrated with a frontispiece, and eight plates.Volume II illustrated with fourteen plates.Collated, complete.Edited by C. H. Wilkinson.Bookplate of Ralph Kirkpatrick to the front paste downs, with his ink inscription to the recto of the endpapers. Kirkpatrick was a famous harpsichordist. In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart, with rubbing to the boards and spines, resulting in loss of paper to the boards, heavier to the front board of Volume II. Spines are discoloured. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, small chip to the head of the front joint of Volume II. A touch of discolouration to the extremities of the boards. Spine labels are a little rubbed. Bookplate to the front paste downs, ink inscription to the recto of the front endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with some scattered spots, mostly to the first and last few pages. Good . Ill.: Not Stated. Good .
