Jhabvala won the Booker prize in 1975 for her work 'Heat and Dust' which tells the story of a woman who travelled to India to find out more about her step-grandmother. Jhabvala was also a two time Academy Award winning screenwriter, winning for her adaptations of 'A Room With A View' and 'Howard's End&apos.
