South Vietnam: Land and Peoples
South Vietnam: n.p., n.d. (1960s). A collection of 29 postcards, each 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in pictorial blue wrap-around card binding. Line drawings and watercolours in black and white of various scenes of life in Vietnam in the 1960s, including cards titled 'An Thanh Village After an American Bombing'; 'A Guerilla'; 'A Liberation Fighter'; 'Digging an Underground Communication Trench'; 'On the Mekong River'; 'The Peasants Largely Contribute to feeding the Armed Forces'; etc. Postcards are unmarked -- a very good set! These packets of postcards were likely sold as an international fundraiser to support the people of Vietnam in their struggles against first French and then American imperialism. Scarce. 70 grams.
