SHARP, L. HEY. - More Talk on Economics.
Glebe [Sydney], printed by Simmons Ltd 1933. Octavo publisher's illustrated boards; 93pp. Some foxing. ¶ While best remembered now as a Pictorialist photographer Sharp was a lecturer in electrical engineering at Sydney University and with whatever authority that lends he erupted into print in 1930 with a series of pamphlets on economics; this seems to be his last and most extensive work. This is, as he tells us, an attempt to describe a new general theory of economics, so the title was a foolish choice. This actually is a brief explanation of a general theory, not the usual tirade against unions, banks, or monetary policy and if he had sensibly titled it 'A General Theory ...' we may not have heard again from Keynes.AUD 50.00 [Appr.: EURO 35.5 US$ 38.31 | £UK 30.75 | JP¥ 4261] Book number 8910
