Very Good/No Jacket.¶ Bound in tree calf, gilt and blind stamped decorative spine, contrasting decorative stamped label. The first volume treats beauty philosophically and sociologically. The second volume is entirely about methods of obtaining specific effects with recipes for cosmetics. This is a very rare book. There is no copy in RLIN/OCLC the BL[not on line, lack verified by a member of the BL staff], or the National Library in Madrid. But it is located in Palau, Manual del librero hispanoamericano (No. 113489). The British Library has a German translation of the 1840s. Very Good.
