A copy of a panoramic map, most probably from King Huber's personal archives, inscribed by him in pencil on verso: "To Sally, from Huber;" n. d.; 2' x 5'5"; rolled; light wear and creasing to edges; very good or better condition.Although not signed, the map was almost certainly worked on by Huber himself, as he led the preparation of numerous definitive maps of the entire Yosemite National Park and Yosemite Valley during his 40-year career with the U.S. Geological Survey. Born in Duluth, Minnesota (1926 - 2007) and a geologist by education, Huber joined the USGS in 1952 and worked for the next 50 years on many scientific papers, books, and maps, largely focused on Yosemite National Park.
