Streets, theaters, churches, and houses of revered authors are described and accompanied by the gorgeous linocuts of artist Aleksei Mishchenko. After the Second World War he was well-known and respected art director and editor of some of the biggest publishing houses including "Isskustvo" and "Molodaia Gvardiia."
