BRANDT, BILL - Homes Fit For Heroes.
Stockport, Dewi Lewis Publishing. 2004. First edition; 8vo original pictorial boards. A collection of previously unpublished works, taken between 1939 and 1943 when Brandt worked on a commercial assignment for the Bournville Village Trust. The photographs illustrate living conditions - ranging from 19th century back-to back slums through to modern municipal housing built in the 1930s. The majority of the photographs were taken in Birmingham but some in London. Fine.
