BAWDEN, EDWARD - Take the Broom.
1952. Limited edition; 100 x 130mm; original pictorial wrappers; 28pp. One of 350 copies. Take the Broom was one of a set of six tales drawn in this size by Bawden for his children, during 1944. It was redrawn on lithographic plates by author at the request of George Rainbird and Ruari McLean. Nos 1-250 were presented by Rainbird and McLean to their friends, and Nos 251-350 were for the use of Bawden, at Christmas 1952. Fine, a little fading to rear wrapper and spine and a small scuff mark also to rear wrapper. A nice copy of a scarce and fragile item
