Signed by Christopher Buckland Wright. Edition of 300 copies, this is one of 54 special copies containing an extra print of Cafe Dansant No.2 in a separate portfolio and with two prints mounted in the book. The two prints are The Blue Dress and The Red Room. Buckland Wright was in the process of finishing the latter at the time of his death. Both are beautifully printed by Ian Mortimer. Neither of these prints has been previously editioned and they reflect his experiments with colour printing. Fourth in a series of books printed by the Fleece Press to show the blocks left in the artist's studio at his death in 1954. The paper used is Magnani avorio Biblos. Bound by Smith Settle, Otley. Seventeen colour plates tipped in and thirty-six black and white block illustrations. Fine.
